Mike Garcia and Liz Cheney

Kevin McCarthy held a secret ballot on February 3, 2021, to make anti-Trumper Liz Cheney the third-highest-ranking Republican in the House of Representatives. Neither McCarthy nor Mike Garcia would say how they voted on making Cheney the GOP House Conference chair, even after she voted to impeach President Trump.

Cheney was later removed from that position by a voice vote on May 12.

Congressman Garcia won't say how he voted on Cheney in February.

Garcia accuses the CRC of gerrymandering

Mike Garcia, who represents the current 25th Congressional District, has accused the California Citizens Redistricting Commission of gerrymandering but has not produced any evidence in support of his accusation.

Far from gerrymandering the district's boundary lines, the Commission's draft map returns Lancaster and Quartz Hills back into our district, removing them from Kevin McCarthy's Bakersfield district.

Bruno Amato: Time Traveler

Bruno Amato claimed this week that he "decided to run against" Kevin McCarthy because McCarthy voted against Build Back Better. The Build Back Better Act was first introduced in the House of Representatives in September, yet Bruno filed his FEC candidacy statement in February, seven months before that.

Andrea Rosenthal heartbroken over Rittenhouse verdict

Andrea Rosenthal, a candidate for the state Assembly running in the 36th AD, announced that she is heartbroken that Kyle Rittenhouse was not found guilty on any of the bogus charges against him. Kyle Rittenhouse was a child who defended himself against a mob of violent adult criminals last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Andrea's position is shameful and clearly politically driven.

Rhoda Nazanin drops out

Congressional District 25 Visualization

With the deadline rapidly approaching for redrawing the boundary lines for what is currently the 25th Congressional District, this is the "visualization" map that is currently under discussion by the state's California Citizens Redistricting Commission. If the proposed map stands, anti-MAGA congressman Kevin McCarthy will be run out of the Lancaster, Quartz Hills, and points north in the Antelope Valley all the way up to the Los Angeles County line.
